Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 pro rata (based on a full-time equivalent salary)

Location: London – Hybrid, part time (2-3 days per week), temporary (9-12 months)

About the role:

As a Finance Assistant, your job is to support the finance team in a variety of tasks, including:

• Managing accounts payable and receivable: Processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments.
• Supporting financial reporting: Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintaining accurate records: Updating and maintaining financial records, both physical and digital.
• As part of a small team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of financial tasks and develop your skills in a supportive environment. We also need you to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments and communicate financial information clearly and concisely.

Role requirements:

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Desirable criteria:
• Familiarity with financial reporting
• Experience with Google Workspace
