LEAD PRODUCT MANAGER
Key responsibilities:
- Own & lead the SaaS product lines.
- Shape the creation of new services through client engagement, taking these new services through to initial client wins, preparing the service for volume sales by our Sales team.
- Monitor the products’ success by setting goals & targets.
- Lead the product and service UX, including managing a UX Designer.
- Act as product ambassador, displaying a full knowledge of the SaaS suite.
- Maintain strong communications with external stakeholders involved in the product development (e.g., clients, potential users, partners, contractors).
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Ops and commercial teams to ensure the products and services meet client needs.
- Keep on top of any relevant market/competitor updates.
- Responsible for R&D grant applications and key product documentation.
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure timelines/expectations are met.
Job Requirements:

- 4+ Years’ working experience in software product management.
- 3+ Years’ experience in Renewable Energy / Cleantech / Climate-Tech/IoT markets.
- Experience of data centric products and services.
- Experience of client engagement to formulate and shape new services, ideally with an element of consultative sales
- Proven ability to own the product roadmap, either in a Senior or Head of Product position.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Ops, and commercial teams.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with an ability to maintain strong relations with external stakeholders.
- Skilled in understanding client needs and implementing these into the product’s solutions.
- An interest in leading a small team.
