On the last day of April, we had the pleasure of proudly sponsoring the Business for Birmingham Netwalking event, a unique initiative combining professional networking with raising money for a very worthwhile cause.
On a beautifully sunny day, we met in the heart of Birmingham, alongside the famous city centre canal. The Netwalking event brought together local professionals, business leaders, and sustainability experts for an afternoon of conversation, collaboration, and relationship building – all while enjoying a walk around the city centre and completing some hotly contested challenges along the way!

The event offered participants the chance to step away from their desks, engage in thoughtful discussion, and explore common goals – all in a relaxed setting. Guru Systems team members joined the walk, sharing insights on the role of data-driven technologies in improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions across UK heat networks.
Not only were we delighted that this event was a massive success for all attendees, we were especially pleased to see that over £6,000 was raised for charity partners Prostate Cancer UK. We were extremely proud to sponsor this event and give our thanks to all who organised, sponsored and participated. We look forward to the next one!
